PIG FACTS
(1) Pigs are the only mammals except for humans which can get sunburned.
(2) Pigs cannot sweat.
(3) Pigs feet are called trotters.
(4) A male pig is called a Boar and a female pig is called a sow.
(5) A sow can give birth to up to 18 piglets at a time.
(6) Pigs have an excellent sence of smell and they are used to sniff out truffles a rare and expensive mushroom used in gourmet cooking.
(7) People think pigs are dirty but in fact they are very clean. The only reason they like mud is to cool off.
(8) Pigs are intelligent and learn very quickly.
